[2018-11-20] {reposted to replace corrupted version} Charlemagne is the fourth restaurant of a six restaurant food crawl of Tagaytay and Sta. Rosa and is the first one for Sta. Rosa. Unfortunately, the setup here was not the same as the prior three but fortunately the food servings were plentiful enough for everyone to have a taste of every dish. The owner, Charlemagne, (now you too know where the name of the restaurant came from, hehehe) mentioned they will be opening before the end of the month another branch at the 5th floor of Ayala Malls Feliz along Marcos Highway. And by the 2nd quarter of next year, at the Pasay Bay area (Yey!, near my area).
My top three favorites for the food I was able to try
Shrimp Poppers – I like shrimp and I like salads
Ox Sisig – I like sisig and this version has chicharong bulaklak plus no tough/inedible bits like some other sisig I have tried.
Beef Tenderloin rolls with cheese
The fourth dish is a longtime favorite among the regulars, Little Asia’s Crispy Chicken. I liked it too but I liked the three above more 🙂
The four dishes we were able to try and some drinks too.
