[2019-Oct-03] Trying to find this rooftop bar even in these times of Waze, Googlemaps, etc. can be a challenge. Unless I missed it, there was no other more visible signage except for these ‘posters’ on a wall perpendicular to the road and it is even partially obscured from the road. You can’t even read ‘Kartel’ unless you walk and be arms lenght to the wall.

Is it worth the trouble to seek out Kartel? If you like open spaces, almost unrestricted view of your surroundings, good food & drinks, then definitely yes!

This is specially true during their 5pm-8pm Happy Hour.

One negative that this place shares with all rooftop places with no protection from adverse weather conditions is that when it rains. Fortunately, if you ever get interrupted by weather, you will/can be tranferred to the bar downstairs, Dr. Wine (which is the landmark you can use to more easily find Kartel)
