Milky & Sunny Tomas Morato QC

on

[2019-Mar-20] There are a lot of restaurants in Tomas Morato. In the building Milky and Sunny is located alone, there are about half a dozen already.

And if you are coming from the wrong side of the building it is easy to miss the restaurant because the signage outside is not easy to notice.

Once you find it, you now need to figure out which of their all day breakfast meals you’d like to have.

Salad?

Pizza?

or how about crispy kare-kare?

Though their breakfast meals were good, it is a no brainer for someone who tries to avoid eating rice like me what I would get.

Among the dishes served,The Buttermilk Chicken Caesar Salad is my top favorite, followed by the Crispy Kare-kare then the Margherita Pizza.

The chicken in the salad was crispy on the outside but moist and tender on the inside. The dressing is already mixed in the greens so it is ready to eat with less effort.

The crispy kare-kare was a tad salty for me (no rice remember?) but not too much. Eating it with the salad & pizza makes it just right.

The pizza crust remained crispy flavor was mild which makes it a great partner with the kare-kare.

Oh, almost forgot about the desserts. I am not really a dessert person so I prefer desserts that are not too sweet. They have soya ice cream.

Crepe & Pancake

I like the Strawberry Banana Pancake the best. It is not too sweet and the pancake was soft & fluffy and a joy to eat. The Hazelnut Banana crepe tasted good too but the crepe texture was a bit tough and rubbery. The Dark Chocolate & Avocado soy ice cream were also not too sweet.

BTW, they also have a karaoke for those that would like to exercise their vocal cords đŸ™‚

They have a lot more food options to choose from and they are reasonably priced. If you need a place to celebrate, Milky and Sunny is also open to private functions.
