[2019-Mar-07] Wang Fu is a Chinese restaurant so dim sum is normally a given and it was.
This time though, the ‘star’ of the served food are the set meals. Affordable and filling since it come with a drink, soup, thinly sliced cabbage and unlimited rice,. We were able to try 5 of the meal sets.
Of the five, my favorite will be the sweet and sour pork with lychee (I like lychee). It is not too sweet nor too sour for me. All the five were ok but the one I like the least would be the pork chop with Chinese mayo (I am biased towards the stronger flavored Japanese mayo). The Chinese mayo is a bit bland for me.
For the drinks I chose Lychee Freeze. Refreshing and just the right level of sweetness for me.
Desserts were served too and all were ok for me. Not overly sweet.
Oh, and of course we had dim sum (thankfully, none had wansoy). I prefer to eat them with chili and calamansi
The dining experience was pleasant overall and I wouldn’t mind coming back to try the other dishes.
