[2018-Sep-12] The interior of this restaurant is simple, comfortable & not cramped.
It is one of the restaurants in S’Maison that is a bit intimidating (aka ‘looks expensive to dine at’). The truth is, it is like most restaurants that it will depend on what you will order and what you like. Hirono can be less expensive than some ramen house if you were to eat ramen here. At the price of around 2 premium burgers, you can order an Aburri Wagyu Steak Don here.
Some of the food we’ve tried: Salmon Aburi, Ebi Tempura (not in photo), Katsu Teishoku, Hirono Salad, Tantan Ramen (mildly flavored, not salty), Spicy and Creamy Sesami Mazemen (mildly spicy and very creamy), Tataki Aburi (very beefy and mostly tender, my top favorite of this bunch), Mint Cucumber (very refreshing).
Hirono serves food you can eat everyday and remain healthy. Less or no salt, oils, artificial flavorings and the like are their cooking preference. For those that worries about what cooks put into the food that they eat, this is one place you can eat without such worries.
