[2019-01-04] A fellow foodie recommended the ‘Crab King’ ramen so I went and tried it out at the nearest branch.
There was just 1 set of customers before me on the queue and I didn’t have to wait long to be seated. I ordered the Crab King and was told it was up to a 15 minutes wait. It was served before any need for a followup.
Upon the first sip of the broth, the crab flavor was evident. I tasted the soup before mixing it up. There was nori for added flavor (for those that do not like nori, just request that it not be included or remove before mixing) and also some chili paste (for those that do not like spicy food BETTER request that none be included in your order since it is put on top like a topping so though it can be removed before mixing, some will definitely remain.
The broth tasted like crab (it made me wish the soup also had coconut milk and want to have/eat spicy ginataan crab) and noodles were cooked just right. The soft shell crab topping however was a disappointment. It was just salty more than anything else. I am not sure if it was meant to be soaked in the broth before being consumed to lessen the saltiness because the saltiness overpowers the crab flavors. It was still edible but I expected better.
