[2018-10-29] I arrived before opening time and was able to take photos of the place before customers started to come in.
The following are my top 3 favorites among the food served:
Butter prawns – Better eaten while hot.
Special Char Siew (as one of the items in triple roast) – Very tender, savory and sinfully, deliciously not fat-free, just the way I like pork 🙂
Homemade Spinach Beancurd with Mushroom and Dried Scallop. I like most beancurd dishes (as long the flavors are the ones I like). I also like mushrooms, spinach and scallops (albeit normally not dried) so liking this dish is not a mystery.
The other two meats in the triple roast were also good, Roast Pork Belly and Soya Kampong Chicken.
The same goes with rest of the dishes; Chinese Kangkong – best eaten with rice or a mild flavored dish (almost too salty for me when eaten as-is). It was still crunchy so I liked it.
Chinese Sausage with Dried Shrimps Fried Rice (tasty but I normally skip rice)
It was an satisfying meal overall.
